Cloud-Based Supplier Onboarding and Compliance Automation Using Smart Contracts
Abstract
Supplier onboarding and compliance verification are often manual and time-consuming processes in supply chain management. This paper presents a cloud-based framework that leverages smart contracts to automate supplier registration, credential verification, and compliance enforcement. The system uses blockchain technology to create a transparent and tamper-proof record of supplier data and contractual obligations. Performance tests show reduced onboarding time, improved compliance rates, and enhanced supplier accountability. The study concludes that smart contract-based automation streamlines supplier management and improves operational efficiency in supply chains.
