Identity and Access Management (IAM) in Hybrid Cloud: A Unified Approach
Abstract
Managing identities and access controls across hybrid cloud environments presents significant challenges due to inconsistent security policies and infrastructure differences. This paper proposes a unified Identity and Access Management (IAM) framework for hybrid cloud environments, which integrates with on-premises and cloud-based identity providers. The framework supports Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and role-based access controls (RBAC) to enforce consistent access policies. Performance analysis demonstrates improved user authentication times and enhanced security across hybrid environments. The study concludes that a unified IAM approach simplifies identity management and strengthens security in hybrid cloud architectures.
