Blockchain-Based Supply Chain Traceability and Transparency in Cloud Environments
Abstract
Ensuring traceability and transparency in supply chains is critical for improving operational efficiency and reducing fraud. This paper presents a blockchain-based supply chain management framework integrated with cloud platforms to enable real-time data sharing and verification. Smart contracts automate transaction validation and enforce compliance with supply chain protocols. The framework ensures data immutability, enhances trust among stakeholders, and provides end-to-end visibility into product movement and provenance. Performance analysis shows that the system reduces reconciliation times and improves data accuracy. The study concludes that blockchain-based traceability enhances supply chain integrity and operational efficiency.
